📄 Terms & Conditions
1. Enrolment and Assessment
1.1 All new students are required to attend a free assessment session prior to enrolment. This allows us to determine the most appropriate class for each child.
1.2 Enrolment is confirmed upon completion of the registration form and full payment of term fees.
1.3 Enrolment continues automatically from term to term unless otherwise notified in writing.
2. Classes and Attendance
2.1 Classes are held weekly throughout the year according to the school’s published term calendar.
2.2 It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure punctual attendance at lessons.
2.3 Marmalade Splash reserves the right to change class times or instructors when necessary. Efforts will be made to notify parents in advance of any changes.
3. Missed Lessons and Make-Up Policy
3.1 Missed lessons will not be refunded or credited.
3.2 Make-up lessons may be offered in exceptional circumstances, subject to availability and prior arrangement.
3.3 Make-up classes are not guaranteed and cannot be carried over into the next term.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Marmalade Splash Swim School operates on a three-term basis per calendar year.
4.2 Fees are payable in full and upfront at the beginning of each term. This secures your child’s place in the class for that term.
4.3 While the fees may work out to a monthly equivalent, we do not offer monthly payment plans. Full payment is required before the first lesson of each term.
4.4 Late payments may result in the forfeiture of your child’s place in the program.
4.5 No refunds will be issued for early withdrawal, non-attendance, or missed lessons except under exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of management.
4.6 Payment Terms Swim school fees are payable in advance per term. This ensures that classes are planned and run smoothly with consistent attendance. While term-based payments are preferred, special arrangements may be considered at Genevieve’s discretion under certain circumstances.
Marmalade Splash Swim School is committed to making swimming accessible to more families in our community, and from time to time, Genevieve may offer support or alternative arrangements where possible.
5. Safety and Supervision
5.1 All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian before and after their lesson.
5.2 No child may enter the pool area without the permission of an instructor.
5.3 Children who are not toilet-trained must wear appropriate swim nappies.
6. Health and Hygiene
6.1 Please do not bring your child to swimming lessons if they are unwell, have an open wound, or are showing signs of illness.
6.2 In the event of vomiting, diarrhoea, or contagious illness, children must be symptom-free for 48 hours before returning to lessons.
6.3 Marmalade Splash maintains the highest hygiene standards and reserves the right to deny entry to anyone posing a health risk to others.
7. Liability
7.1 While every precaution is taken to ensure a safe learning environment, Marmalade Splash Swim School and its staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained on the premises.
7.2 Participation in swim lessons is at the risk of the parent/guardian and student.
